Welcome to Stella Moon Co. I'm Zoe, and I'm so pleased you're here! This is my story.

November 15th 2021, I had a stillbirth at 7 months pregnant and we lost our beautiful baby boy Callum. Two months after giving birth to our boy, I fell pregnant again with our daughter Stella. There were a lot of different emotions I was dealing with. The excitement of being pregnant again, the anxiety of carrying another baby, the grief.. the confusion of feeling guilty for being happy about another baby.. You name it, I felt it. With all the extra doctors visits being considered high risk, most of my pregnancy with our daughter felt quite daunting. 

So, when my third trimester came around, I really wanted to make a shift. Since this was the time we lost our son, I wanted to really zone in on baby stuff to keep my mind positive and not have any intrusive thoughts. So I started ACTUALLY buying baby things, and it was the most exciting feeling in the world for me. I thought to myself, this is the feeling I need all the time... finding so much joy in picking out all the baby gear, clothes etc. So, I decided to take the leap and start a baby brand I could call my own. That's how Stella Moon was born.

I really just wanted to live in the world of baby things and be consumed by it... because it brought me such joy and positive distraction. Since then I've had the best time picking things out for my daughter, and I truly just want to be a part of other moms excitement!
